First, why the mystery?  Because it gives you something to look forward to — or not — I’m not the bashful type, so it’s not that I’m worried about what someone might think of me.  This is about my personal efforts to get back in shape.  I’ve done it once, I can do it again.  I don’t think anyone particularly cares about the actual individual, as much as they care about the effort.  Frankly, I don’t need encouragement or sympathy–but I figured the first time I went from Fat to Fit I had no documentation to show for it.  So when I was fit people assumed I was always fit and when I would tell them how much I had lost I always got incredulous looks; then when I found myself with an extra 30 lbs. again people give me the “yeah, right!” look when I tell them I was once fit.  But it’s not the naysayer that concerns me, it’s the person who is wondering if it’s worth it; if it’s possible this is to show you my own experience.

So who is the FatBoy — or who are the FatBoys?  While it started as a personal effort, it’s quickly become evident that this is something that seems to resonate with more than just one individual.  So we have other brave souls jumping into the effort, sharing their arduous journey and effort, as well as their success and the systems we are all using to better our lives.  We hope you’ll share your journey with us.  If there’s something we can do to make this better for everyone … let us know!

Now I know that to some people losing 30 lbs. is nothing, while to others it’s a gargantuan task; which is why I didn’t make this about weightloss, but rather about getting fit.  This is for my family — for those little guys that need me to be in good shape to go fight off the soccer moms and the basketball dads without losing my breath climbing down the bleachers.  It’s for me as well, I’m not ready to check out — I enjoy the active lifestyle and I miss my weekly basketball games with the crew.

If you wanna’ drop me a line I’m fatboy@fatboygetsfit.com

    Hello,

My name is Glenn Heaton, from Australia. I’m currently doing the membership course with Maria Gudelis and heard your site mentioned.

I’m looking to partner with websites that have a similar core audience to one of my products. This one is called ‘Ezywalk’, and is an audio walking program I created after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. The program has since been endorsed by Diabetes Australia (NSW). The program is also part of my content library that is licensed to health and wellbeing professionals.

As I can see an alignment between our target customers would you be open to receiving some information about ‘Ezywalk’ and how it can add value to your customers and subscribers?

Please let me know if you’d be interested!

    Thanks for your time,

    Glenn Heaton
